Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Clinic Receptionist, you will serve as the essential first point of contact for our patients, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience within our fast-paced medical environment. You will play a vital role in our administrative operations by managing patient check-in and check-out processes, accurately verifying insurance information, and maintaining clinical documentation. By combining your exceptional customer service skills with organized clerical support, you will help streamline clinic workflows and contribute to the overall success of our healthcare team. Every day you will manage a variety of administrative responsibilities, including scheduling patient appointments, answering and routing incoming calls, and handling time-of-service payments. You will be responsible for scanning medical records into our electronic health system, preparing patient charts, and conducting cash drawer reconciliations. Your daily tasks will also include confirming upcoming appointments, communicating clinic guidelines to patients, and providing ongoing support for office supply inventory and interdepartmental mail flow.

Requirements

  • At least one year of experience in customer service, clerical, or business-related fields
  • High level of professionalism in communication
  • Ability to perform light physical duties, including periods of standing and walking
  • Comfortable interacting directly with patients and their families
  • Organized, detail-oriented professional
  • Committed to patient confidentiality
  • Adheres to regulatory compliance standards
  • Thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented healthcare setting
  • 1-3 years of customer service experience, clerical, or business-related experience upon hire
