This is a full-time position for a Clinic Phlebotomist in the WI ACL Laboratories - AAH Cedar Creek Clinic. The role involves verifying patient identification, assessing patient reactions to specimen procurement, and performing venipuncture and collecting other specimens from patients of all age groups. The phlebotomist will also perform limited testing under CLIA guidelines, handle administrative tasks such as answering phones, assisting with inventory, and supporting billing functions. Additionally, the role includes receiving, sorting, packaging, and tracking specimens for transport, processing specimens for testing, and responding to urgent specimen procurement requests. Quality assurance, running quality control checks, notifying providers of critical results, and performing laboratory result entry are also key responsibilities. The position requires instructing employees and students in phlebotomy and related functions and demonstrating knowledge of age-specific care.
