About The Position

The Clinic Patient Care Assistant supports patients throughout their healthcare journey and helps create a positive patient experience. The role involves providing compassionate, attentive support and helping patients feel valued, comfortable, and supported. Primary duties include escorting patients to exam rooms, taking and recording vital signs, assisting with mobility, comfort, and basic care needs, preparing patients for examinations and procedures, and collecting specimens such as urine samples when required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Completion of a patient care assistant, nursing assistant, or medical assistant training program.
• CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in healthcare or customer service is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms.
• Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, weight, and oxygen saturation.
• Assist patients with mobility, comfort, and basic care needs.
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
• Collect specimens, such as urine samples, when required.
