Clinic Office Assistant; Clinic RN, LPN, CMA/RMA (Podiatry)
About The Position
Your feet carry you through daily activities and get you where you need to be. Most of the time, you don’t pay attention to your feet until they hurt. If you suffer from heel pain, warts, ingrown toenails, plantar fasciitis or bunions, our team is ready to help you find relief. From properly diagnosing the cause of foot pain to providing ongoing foot care to diabetics, our staff has the experience and advanced technology to return you to pain-free mobility and better podiatric (foot) health. Our doctors specialize in caring for feet and our laboratory is nationally recognized for creating quality orthotic devices. We provide consultation, evaluation, diagnosis and treatment including surgery for adults and children. As a Clinic Office Assistant, you will provide general patient care, assistance with procedures, documentation of activities and patient/family education. This position will work at the Deaconess Columbia building located directly across from the Midtown ER.
Requirements
- Graduation certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant program or graduation from an accredited nursing program required.
- Current certification/license from one of the below: Certified Medical Assistant- American Association of Medical Assistants, Registered Medical Assistant- American Medical Technologist, Certified Clinical Medical Assistant- National Health career Association, National Certified Medical Assistant- National Center for Competency Testing, Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant- National Association for Health Professionals, Registered Medical Assistant- American Allied Health, Certified Medical Assistant Clinical- American Medical Certification Association, Active LPN license in state of employment, Active RN license in state of employment
- CPR provider certification required.
