Clinic Nurse - RN or LPN (Full-Time)
About The Position
The Medical Clinic at Gothenburg Health is seeking an LPN or RN as a Clinic Nurse. Under the supervision of the Clinic Nurse Manager, you will perform the duties and responsibilities necessary in the process of delivering quality health care in a manner that protects the integrity and confidentiality of every individual patient ultimately supporting the hospital’s mission. As a Clinic Nurse, you will be responsible for assisting physicians with patient care, clerical, and organizational tasks, and administration of medication including injections. Position expectations include assisting providers in exam room, patient education, patient follow-up, and exam room preparation.
Requirements
- LPN or RN licensure preferred
- BLS required
- Valid Nebraska driver’s license
Responsibilities
- Complete needed assessment and treatments as determined by the provider to complete the needed care for the patient.
- Provided follow-up to patients on questions and concerns in a timely manner and determined by workflows for complete/holistic care.
- Work with community partners to provide needed care for our patient population to maintain compliance with treatment as ordered by the provider.
- Maintain needed competency on treatment protocols and quality and infection control procedures for compliance with regulatory bodies.
