About The Position

The Swan Center for Plastic Surgery, in collaboration with United Aesthetics Alliance (UAA), is seeking a Clinic Nurse Lead. Requirements

MA, LPN, and/or RN license required.
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience.
Background in Plastics.
Organizational, leadership, and time-management skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Capacity to train, mentor, and support new employees.
Proficient in scheduling software, nursing documentation tools, and basic computer programs (e.g., MS Office).
Solid understanding of nursing practices, standards, and healthcare protocols.
Skilled to solve problems and think critically while managing competing clinical priorities.
Ability to perform the essential functions of the role, including prolonged standing, repetitive movements, and lifting objects weighing up to 20 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in a leadership, supervisory, or charge nurse role is preferred.
Additional certifications in specialty areas may be preferred.

Responsibilities

Train and mentor new nursing staff on department protocols, patient care procedures, and safety standards.
Provide ongoing support and guidance to foster professional development of nursing staff.
Assist with overseeing the daily activities of nursing staff, ensuring adherence to department policies and procedures.
Offer support in decision-making and problem-solving situations for the nursing team.
Collaborate with other nursing staff and management to improve operational processes and enhance patient care delivery.
Serve as a point of contact for nursing staff on operational issues.
Coordinate with the Nurse Manager to ensure qualified nursing staff provide coverage during planned absences and maintain continuity of care.
Ensure patient care meets high standards through regular checks, identifying potential issues, and facilitating prompt resolution.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement in patient care.
Oversee the inventory and management of nursing supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper documentation.
Monitor and report any shortages or equipment malfunctions.
Manage and coordinate the nursing schedule, ensuring shifts are covered and staffing levels align with patient needs.
Adjust schedules based on department requirements in coordination with the Nurse Manager.
