About The Position

Gundersen Palmer Lutheran Hospital and Clinics is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant (MA) to join our highly committed and dynamic team at our West Union, Iowa clinic as we provide excellent quality care to patients of all ages. As a Medical Assistant (MA), you will play a direct role in providing LOVE + MEDICINE for a broad range of patients. You will be expected to perform in a fast-paced clinical and professional environment, while helping deliver patient care as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalency.
• Certification is required within 18 months of hire date by one of the following certifying boards: American Association of Medical Assistants as a Certified Medical Assistant, National Health Career Association as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, National Center for Competency Testing as a National Certified Medical Assistant, American Medical Technologists as a Registered Medical Assistant, National Association for Health Professionals as a Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant.

Nice To Haves

• Prior Clinic MA experience preferred.
