About The Position

Come join our GI Center team as a Clinic PCT/CNA/MA! This is a day shift position! We are looking for a team player to help patients improve all things digestive tract. Patients will need guidance on swallowing, reflux and common diseases with pancreas, gallbladder, liver, stomach and colon. This position will help patients prepare for assessment and treatment and support their ongoing care pathway. It is weekdays only, within the hours of 8-5pm. Spanish speaking is ideal but not required.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Current BLS Certification preferred or obtained within 3 months of hire.
• Required to successfully completion of Assessment-Based Recognition (ABR) program in order entry for electronic health records (EHR’s), within 30 days of hire.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• We are not able to sponsor visas.

Nice To Haves

• Spanish speaking is ideal but not required.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Previous clinic experience desired!

Responsibilities

• Performs all clinical duties per licensed health care provider or delegation of a registered nurse, designated specifically by the clinic.
• Provides assistance to licensed health care providers and nursing staff for general patient assessments, rooming patients, procedures, treatments, filing/retrieving medical records, and general office clerical duties.
