About The Position

Functions as the medical assistant for Clinic and patients. Maintains supplies and assists professional staff as needed in the clinic.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Current CPR Certification required.
• Previous Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant experience preferred.
• Capable of performing duties as assigned.
• Must be able to quickly learn skill sets necessary to perform clinical duties.
• Ability to communicate well with the public.
• Able to work effectively with team member and use tact and discretion in dealing with varying job situations.
• Able to maintain strict confidentiality.
• Able to deliver patient care under Physician supervision and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
• Proficiency in operating Business Office computer programs.
• Adheres to established Hospital policies and procedures.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Subject to satisfactory adjudication of background investigation and/or fingerprint check.
• Successful completion of 500-hour probationary period.
• Criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen required upon conditional job offer.
