About The Position

The Clinic Manager works collaboratively with administration, providers, staff and community resources to render professional patient care with efficiency, empathy and friendliness. Clinical & Nursing Leadership – Lead all nursing and clinical operations to ensure high‑quality, patient‑centered care, appropriate staffing, and effective daily clinic operations. Regulatory, Quality & Safety Oversight – Ensure compliance with MDH, CMS, and Rural Health Clinic standards while promoting patient safety, infection control, and continuous quality improvement. Patient Care & Population Health – Support team‑based care models focused on chronic disease management, population health goals, patient education, and care coordination. Staff Management & Development – Hire, train, schedule, evaluate, and coach nursing and clinical staff; foster professional growth, licensure compliance, and engagement. Operational & Financial Management – Drive clinic efficiency, manage budgets and resources, oversee supplies and medications, and support systemwide ambulatory care initiatives. Program, Community & Interdepartmental Collaboration – Manage specialty programs (including MAT/Suboxone), serve as liaison across departments, and support outreach and community partnerships aligned with organizational values.

Requirements

  • Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
  • Associates degree in Nursing required, Bachelor degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Current RN License in the State of MN required.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
  • Demonstrated progressive competence in areas of organization, leadership, clinical practice, supervision, teaching and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Rural Health Clinic, Critical Access Hospital or similarly regulated medical facilities preferred.
