About The Position

Care for our community, and your career. This position requires a thorough knowledge of nursing principles and the ability to provide quality patient care. The LPN must be able to assess patient needs, including clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual aspects. Safety is paramount, and the individual must recognize safety issues for themselves and others, and be able to safely lift and move patients using appropriate equipment. The role demands the ability to function well in stressful situations, with strong problem-solving and leadership skills, including the ability to prioritize and delegate. A commitment to quality, timely, and cost-effective patient care is essential. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills (written and verbal) are required, along with attention to detail. The individual must be self-motivated, able to self-direct, and capable of simultaneously handling multiple assignments and projects with speed and accuracy, working efficiently and effectively under time constraints.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Knowledge of new trends and techniques in Nursing.
• Possesses a thorough knowledge of nursing principles.
• Demonstrates ability to provide quality patient care.
• Possesses ability to assess patient's needs, e.g. clinical, teaching, mental and spiritual.
• Must recognize safety issues to self and others and be able to assess and implement use of lifts to lift and move patients in a safe manner.
• Must be able to function well in stressful situations and have good, creative, problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritize and delegate.
• Demonstrated commitment to quality, timely, and cost-effective patient care.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills required.
• Detail attentiveness required.
• Individual must be self-motivated and willing to self-direct.
• Ability to simultaneously handle multiple assignments and projects with speed and accuracy.
• Able to work efficiently and effectively under time constraints.
• BLS required.

• Previous hospital LPN exp. is pref.
