About The Position

This position is located at SFHN Women's Wellness and Breast Care within the 01.6980 SMC WTW WASH. ST. Department. The role involves providing patient care within the community and offers opportunities for career growth. The LPN must possess a thorough knowledge of nursing principles, demonstrate the ability to provide quality patient care, and assess patient needs including clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual aspects. Safety awareness, including the ability to assess and use lifts for patient movement, is crucial. The role requires functioning well in stressful situations, possessing good problem-solving skills, and strong leadership abilities with the capacity to prioritize and delegate. A commitment to quality, timely, and cost-effective patient care is essential, along with excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. The individual must be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of handling multiple assignments efficiently under time constraints.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Knowledge of new trends and techniques in Nursing.
  • BLS required.
  • Possesses a thorough knowledge of nursing principles.
  • Demonstrates ability to provide quality patient care.
  • Possesses ability to assess patient's needs, e.g. clinical, teaching, mental and spiritual.
  • Must recognize safety issues to self and others and be able to assess and implement use of lifts to lift and move patients in a safe manner.
  • Must be able to function well in stressful situations and have good, creative, problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritize and delegate.
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality, timely, and cost-effective patient care.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Detail attentiveness required.
  • Individual must be self-motivated and willing to self-direct.
  • Ability to simultaneously handle multiple assignments and projects with speed and accuracy.
  • Able to work efficiently and effectively under time constraints.
