About The Position

The Clinic LPN performs administrative duties including, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and data entry in medical records under the direct supervision of a supervisor or provider. Clinical duties will include measuring and recording vital signs, collecting demographics or medical information including review of medication list, preparing patients for examination, cleaning rooms and equipment and stocking supplies. This position will involve the administration of medications. The Clinic LPN draws blood and perform waived testing on specimens. This position cares for patients with chronic illness in a rural setting.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited License Practical Nursing program
  • License Practical Nurse active in the state of Missouri
  • Must obtain American Heart Association BLS within 90 days of hire
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams.
  • Carry out delegated tasks independently or with provider oversite
  • Proficient Computer skills

Nice To Haves

  • Previous nursing experience in healthcare, particularly in an ambulatory clinic setting
  • IV certification in State of Missouri
