Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 2 years of experience in Healthcare, Reimbursement Services, Clinical audit, Medical Records, and/or Government Billing Regulations required
Responsibilities
- Performing clinical and operational audits as a means of verifying accuracy of information, and compliance to established policies, practices, and regulations.
- Timely and accurate recording of clinical billing in regards to charge capture.
- Facilitating education related to on-going trends and charge capture issues.
- Coordinating communications between coding and the clinic/providers as needed.
- Improving the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations.
