About The Position

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- State-approved EMT training program graduate
- Active State NE EMT License required
- Active status on Nebraska Medication Aide Registry within 90 days of hire
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
Responsibilities
- Perform general patient care following established clinic workflows.
- Greet and prepare patients for the health care provider by completing intake duties such as obtaining and recording vital signs, reviewing drug allergies and current medications, completing applicable screening questionnaires and documenting reason for visit.
- Collect and prepare ordered specimens for laboratory analysis.
- Prepare and provide ordered medications and/or vaccines to patients.
- Clean and sterilize instruments.
- Ensure patient exam rooms are stocked, clean, and orderly.
