Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Certified EMT Basic, Intermediate, or Paramedic
  • Registered with the Colorado Registry or National Registry Required.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required

Nice To Haves

  • IV certification preferred.
  • Two years of related experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Receives and evaluates incoming calls, arranging appointments as directed by healthcare providers.
  • Performs routine and specialized tests as ordered by medical professionals and adheres to all Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) requirements.
  • Obtains patient samples and prepares for couriers based on priority.
  • Provides patient care per standard operating procedures & policy.
  • Assists provider with patients in the clinic per hospital standards and procedures.
  • Completes administrative functions as requested.
  • Cleaning, Sanitizing and Room Preparation
  • Administration of some basic medications (e.g., epinephrine, oral glucose), Intravenous (IV) therapy, and administration of additional medications (e.g., pain management, antiarrhythmics)
