About The Position

The Director of Physical Therapy serves as the clinical and operational leader of the clinic, creating a culture of excellence while ensuring outstanding patient care, exceptional team engagement, and sustainable clinic growth. This role is responsible for mentoring clinicians, supporting business performance, strengthening referral relationships, and fostering a positive workplace where people love coming to work.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
  • Current Physical Therapist license in the state of practice.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of outpatient orthopedic experience preferred.
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, mentoring, and relationship-building skills.
  • Passion for developing people and delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Your Team: Inspire, mentor, and develop physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, aides, and front office staff.
  • Foster a collaborative, patient-first culture aligned with SportsCare's values.
  • Support onboarding, coaching, performance development, and employee engagement.
  • Create an environment where clinicians can grow professionally and personally.
  • Deliver Clinical Excellence: Provide exceptional evidence-based patient care.
  • Promote quality outcomes and best clinical practices.
  • Ensure compliance with professional, ethical, and regulatory standards.
  • Support continuous clinical education and innovation.
  • Grow the Clinic: Build and maintain relationships with physicians, employers, athletic organizations, and community partners.
  • Support referral development and community outreach initiatives.
  • Monitor clinic performance while identifying opportunities for growth and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with regional leadership to achieve clinic goals.
  • Lead Operations: Oversee daily clinic operations and workflow.
  • Promote efficient scheduling and resource utilization.
  • Partner with administrative teams to ensure an outstanding patient experience.
  • Champion technology, including AI-assisted documentation through Prompt, to improve efficiency and clinician satisfaction.
