The Clinic Director for Team Rehabilitation is a unique model for the Physical Therapist who wants to have ownership in a clinic while still having the support of a company. This leadership role’s primary responsibilities are growing, developing and managing an outpatient physical therapy clinic. The only way to drive success is in providing exceptional physical therapy with measurable outcomes. The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care while regularly exceeding industry standards.

Requirements

  • Doctorate or Masters in Physical Therapy
  • Desire to own/run clinic
  • 5+ years of proven experience with track record of exceptional patient care
  • Dedicated to education and training with a desire to continue to grow as a Physical Therapist
  • Must be committed to Team’s initiative of making DEI a priority - bringing a sense of belonging and empowerment within a diverse workforce

Responsibilities

  • Provide input on clinic location and clinic layout if opening a new clinic.
  • Take control of Quality of Care in the clinic, ensuring a patient-centered approach.
  • Perform all normal responsibilities of a Physical Therapist.
  • Hire and manage clinic staff.
  • Support Marketing Reps and fellow clinics’ marketing initiatives.
  • Maintain relationships with key physicians and referral sources to promote Team’s commitment to care and increase patient referrals.
  • Attend marketing-related lunches and functions.
  • Ensure the clinic is a positive influence in the community.
  • Oversee scheduling and treatments to enhance the patient’s experience and keep the clinic full of patients.
  • Manage productivity by defining and setting clear, reasonable, and measurable expectations.
  • Manage the clinic budget to make financial decisions that support the clinic’s overall financial health.
  • Monitor clinic expenses such as patient travel, office supplies, and medical supplies.
  • Ensure the clinic complies with all state and federal healthcare regulations, staying informed about ever-changing healthcare laws and policies.
  • Collaborate with Revenue Cycle Management to ensure accurate billing and reimbursement.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to maximize clinic performance and profitability.
  • Provide input on policies, procedures, and strategy to ensure all Team Rehabilitation clinics provide the highest quality of care.
  • Handle patient feedback and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop clinic staff, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
  • Manage employee schedules, performance reviews, and training.
  • Promote staff engagement and retention through effective communication and support.
  • Continuously foster a collaborative work environment where people from all backgrounds are respected and encouraged.
  • Enforce policies to maintain a safe and positive working environment.
