About The Position
FlexStaff is seeking an experienced OBGYN Medical Doctor with NYS MD Licensure to join our client outpatient healthcare center that provides primary care, dental, behavioral health, OB/GYN, and other community-based wellness services for their location in Queens, NY.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved medical school
- M.D. Licensure in New York State
- Board certified or Board eligible in OB/GYN
- Minimum of 5 years of Clinical experience in OB/GYN, including at least 2 years in leadership or administrative capacity
Responsibilities
- Lead OB/GYN service line (prenatal, obstetrics, gynecology, family planning, preventive care) across sites.
- Oversee all OB/GYN providers: manage clinic templates, access targets, coverage/on-call and hospital liaison activities.
- Ensure high-quality clinical outcomes consistent with HRSA and UDS.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary care and expand women’s health services.
- Own OB/GYN quality metrics; lead peer review, case conferences, and incident learning.
- Maintain compliance with HRSA and other regulations; keep policies and procedures current.
- Recruit, onboard, train, evaluate, coach, and manage performance of OB/GYN providers.
- Collaborate on staffing models, competencies, and patient-flow efficiency.
- Promote patient-centered, trauma-informed, culturally responsive care.
- Provide full-scope gynecologic care; manage consults and escalate to advanced procedures/surgery via affiliates.
- Support maternal health initiatives, perinatal education, outreach, grants, reporting, and new service development.
- Perform other duties as required.
