About The Position

This is a part-time position managing content and community engagement to promote social media-driven growth at Athēnix Scottsdale, a part of the Kalon Aesthetics portfolio. The role will center around creating a content calendar for the doctor & brand that aligns with the center’s values and business needs. Within this scope, this individual is expected to be a key part of the center team, shadowing the doctor and developing relationships with patients and staff that will aid in the effort of content capture. Community management both on social media and in person are key parts of this role, involving encouraging patients, engaging with comments and DMs, and acting in accordance with the goal of building an enthusiastic and positive community base for the center. This individual may also be asked to perform other tasks related to social media and content, including but not limited to coordinating before & after content, influencer scouting, and appearing on camera as needed. The role demands a collaborative and high EQ approach – involving working closely with other teams, embodying an empathetic and friendly demeanor with patients, and a creative eye for content opportunities. This individual should be a driven self-starter who can generate ideas and plans in accordance with general direction. The purpose of this role is to support the growth and visibility of Athēnix Scottsdale and Dr. Lehrman’s brands through high-quality, compliant, and on-brand social media content on the surgeon and brand accounts.

Requirements

  • Genuine passion and innate interest in aesthetics.
  • Experience planning, filming, and editing social media content.
  • Understanding of ideal filming angles, setups, and lighting.
  • Comfortable interviewing live subjects and promoting a safe and enjoyable filming environment for patients and staff.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment while also excelling at independent task execution and project management.
  • Flexibility and willingness to adapt based on business needs.
  • High Emotional Intelligence Quotient (EQ), confidence, drive, and personability.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication & copywriting skills, with the ability to adapt to a unique brand voice.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and remain composed when handling complex patient and physician interactions.
  • Proactive self-starter.
  • Proficiency in core social media platforms: Meta [Facebook + IG,] TikTok, and YouTube with strong knowledge of Twitter, Pinterest, and other new and trending platforms.
  • Proficiency in social media planning tools such as notion and sprout social.
  • Proficiency in social media editing tools such as Canva, Capcut, Adobe Express, and in-platform editors (Instagram and TikTok)
  • Comfortable occasionally being on-camera.

Responsibilities

  • Content creation and shadowing – plan, produce, film, and edit high-quality, social-media appropriate photo and video assets involving the doctor, patients, and staff.
  • Social media content planning & coordination – work with the center staff and corporate marketing team to build an ongoing content calendar for the doctor and brand, ensuring that content is shared on a regular basis to promote performance and engagement.
  • Community management – support engagement efforts on approved social platforms and in person, including responding to comments, DMs, posting stories, fostering community initiatives & events, and building authentic relationships with patients.
  • Monitor social media analytics and interpret performance insights to stay on top of social media growth and impact.
  • Stay up-to-date on trends and industry insights to guide initiatives and content topics.
  • Monitor social listening and identify opportunities to help the center get more involved in social media spaces.
  • Ensure efforts are integrated with broader marketing campaigns & business goals through effective collaboration and communication.
