About The Position

Seeking a Clinic Care Tech, Medical Assistant, or a Licensed Practical Nurse to serve in Essentia Health's Hematology/Oncology. This position will work 8 am to 4:30 pm but hours will vary, Monday through Friday. No holidays or weekends. The Medical Assistant or LPN will assist the RN, Physician and other providers and provides direct patient care in the ambulatory care setting to contribute to meeting the mission and goals of Essentia Health. They will perform identified procedures for which competencies have been demonstrated and care for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly. The Clinic Care Technician is primarily responsible for providing assistance with daily patient flow in the clinic setting. These duties may include greeting and rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, documenting in patient chart, stocking, and cleaning exam room, ordering and maintaining clinic supplies, assisting with clerical duties, and all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in appropriate state, i.e. Minnesota, Wisconsin, OR current registration or certification as a Medical Assistant OR Verifiable completion of a Medical Assistant Program and must become certified within one year of date of hire.
Must pass certification within two attempts
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certified, or able to obtain within 3 months
High School Diploma or Equivalent (for Clinic Care Technician)
Verification of your legal right to work in the United States
Health screening and immunization review
Verification of applicable licensure, certifications, education, and experience
Background checks including criminal, urine drug screen and MVR where required
