About The Position

We are looking for a motivated Clinic Associate to join our dynamic team and contribute to delivering an exceptional patient experience across various service lines, including Urgent Care, Primary Care, and Specialty Care.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 1+ year of experience in healthcare, customer service, or administrative roles, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, AthenaOne, and other relevant software applications.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment under pressure and time constraints.
  • Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification from a recognized organization (e.g., American Heart Association, Red Cross) or ability to obtain within 1 month of hire.
  • Ability to complete ZoomCare’s phlebotomy training program within six months of hire.
  • WA: Must be able to obtain a Medical Assistant- Phlebotomist license within 6 months of hire.
  • Vaccinated against COVID-19, Hepatitis B., MMR, PPD, Varicella (Chickenpox), and TD/TDAP.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Current phlebotomy license; equivalent licensure or training experience.
  • Current licensure/certification as a Certified Medical Assistant, Clinical Medical Assistant, National Certified Medical Assistant, Clinical Medical Assistant Certification (CCMA) or prior experience as a Medical Assistant - Registered.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver the Perfect Visit experience in service lines such as Daily Care, Family Medicine, Mental Health, Women's Health, Dermatology, and Podiatry.
  • Schedule appointments, update medical records, and manage patient check-in and check-out processes.
  • Process patient payments and educate patients on navigating their medical records.
  • Maintain accurate patient demographic and insurance information.
  • Perform blood draws and finger sticks according to laboratory standards.
  • Process collected specimens and document results.
  • Manage supply inventory, including ordering, receiving, and storing supplies.
  • Operate and maintain basic medical equipment.
  • Provide emergency care to patients as needed.
  • Support medical providers with various tasks.
  • Ensure the clinic environment is clean and organized.
  • Other duties as assigned.
