About The Position
This position exists to assist the providers and staff in the clerical and patient care aspects of the pediatric clinic within the Diabetes & Endocrine Center. The Diabetes & Endocrine Center provides comprehensive interdisciplinary initial evaluation, follow-up and management of congenital and acquired endocrine disorders, including diabetes, growth problems, and thyroid disorders. The department also offers an education program for children and their families that includes diabetes management and nutrition counseling, as well as resources and support groups.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- BLS certification required.
- Computer knowledge.
- Demonstrated customer service skills and organizational skills.
Nice To Haves
- Post high school training in a health care setting and/or pediatric experience preferred.
- Medical terminology preferred.
