The Clinical Assistants will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care by providing both clinical and administrative support in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Requirements

  • Previous experience working in a physician office in a clinical capacity
  • Experience with orthopedics (spine/total joint)
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task effectively
  • Highly organized
  • Able and willing to handle high patient care volume on a daily basis

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Medical Assistant
  • Athletic Trainer Certified
  • LPN/RN

Responsibilities

  • Assists patients to/from clinic areas
  • Assist physicians during office visits
  • Scribe patient information into the EMR system
  • Retrieve patient information from EMR system
  • Conduct preliminary patient evaluations
  • Communicate information with patients as directed by physician
  • Provide appropriate patient education regarding injuries
  • Manage and prioritize phone calls and electronic communication
  • Schedule patient testing
  • Obtain prior authorizations
