About The Position

A Clinic Administrator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a medical clinic, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care, and that the clinic operates efficiently. This role requires a blend of leadership, organizational skills, and healthcare knowledge. The Clinic Administrator will work closely with medical staff, support teams, and patients to maintain a well-organized and effective healthcare environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or a related field
  • Certified Medical Manager (CMM) or similar professional certification
  • Experience with healthcare operations, budgeting, and financial management
  • Strong leadership, team-building, and staff development skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of healthcare operations, policies, and regulatory requirements
  • Proficiency with EHR systems, healthcare management software, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilities
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated professionalism and commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards
  • Ability to guide, motivate, and support staff in high-pressure situations

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage daily clinic operations to ensure efficient workflows and high-quality patient care
  • Supervise, train, and support assigned administrative and support staff
  • Develop, implement, and maintain clinic policies, procedures, and operational standards
  • Manage staff scheduling, assignments, and performance oversight
  • Serve as a liaison between medical providers, administrative teams, and leadership
  • Monitor patient flow and identify opportunities to improve service delivery and patient experience
  • Address patient concerns, complaints, and feedback in a timely and professional manner
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to enhance overall patient care and clinic effectiveness
  • Coordinate patient care services and ensure smooth clinic operations
  • Support onboarding and ongoing professional development for clinic staff
  • Organize and facilitate staff training and continuing education opportunities
  • Assist with marketing, outreach, and community engagement initiatives as assigned
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare laws, regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies
  • Maintain accurate, confidential, and timely records in accordance with HIPAA and regulatory requirements
  • Oversee patient billing processes, insurance claims, and revenue cycle activities
  • Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems and healthcare management software effectively
  • Monitor clinic budgets, expenses, and financial performance
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support clinic operations and organizational goals
