This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening the community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. Under the guidance and supervision of the Camp Director, the Climbing Lead is responsible for providing direction for the staff, members, and program, implementing the program curriculum, and providing a quality experience to members that focus on the Y values. The person will be responsible for the YMCA climbing wall's successful daily operations in member services, safety, and maintenance. This person is also responsible for continuous high-quality customer service, which includes, but is not limited to: meeting internal/external customer needs and presenting a positive attitude toward the YMCA, its staff, and its programs. Part-time (15-20 hours per week), flexible to meet requirements of the position including evenings and weekends.
