About The Position

Coordinates activities of workers and performs tasks to receive, efficiently store, and distribute products for multiple clients. Responsible for coordinating client communication and operational execution of client requests. Must enforce adherence with SOPs to manage and maintain a regulatory compliant environment in the Shared Pharmaceutical operations. This position conducts and documents Quality related investigations such as Field Complaints and Deviations from SOP adherence. Additional responsibilities include Continuous Improvement initiatives including schedule planning and delivery of instructional training materials, as well as documenting and updating training profiles. Training includes but is not limited to warehouse SOP’s and functions, safety awareness, and warehouse management systems. Must be able to work within a collaborative environment, multi-task, and work within aggressive timeframes.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Minimum two years Shipping/Receiving experience
  • Knowledge of WMS.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and correspondence.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate.
  • Ability to physically count, add, subtract, multiply and divide.
  • Ability to define problems establishes facts and draws valid conclusions.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
  • Regularly required to sit and talk or hear.
  • Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
  • Regularly required to stand, walk and reach with hands and arms.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates process knowledge and leadership skills
  • Must have a thorough understanding of all business processes and be able to train others in all aspects of processes, policies and procedures. Monitor work execution to ensure that only authorized and trained processes are being used and that equipment is being used properly.
  • Review and assign shipping orders, picking documents or stock allocations to determine items to be processed and distributed.
  • Perform activities to monitor and maintain inventory control of materials, which include monthly and as needed physical inventory counts.
  • Ensure appropriate precautions are taken to protect warehouse contents against loss.
  • Report internally and externally discrepancies regarding inbound/outbound/inventory levels timely and accurately.
  • Assists in developing reference guides, job aids, testing, and evaluation tools
  • Delivers various types of training including onboarding and skills training for new hires, as well as cross-training and/or remedial training for existing associates
  • Ability to effectively interface with clients and employees with a wide variety of technical and non-technical skills and backgrounds
  • Completes all required documentation accurately and timely.
  • Compiles and maintains training records, documentation, tools, reports and schedules
  • Maintains safe and healthy work environments by adhering to standards and guidelines; complying with legal regulations
  • Assist in companywide activities associated with the department. Cross training as required.
  • Manage and delegate to employees.
