About The Position

Salem Media Boston is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Client Success Manager (CSM) to support both internal teams and external clients across our growing multimedia platform. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at client communication, and has strong digital marketing expertise. The CSM will play a critical role in ensuring campaign success, client satisfaction, and operational excellence, serving as a key bridge between sales, clients, and digital execution teams.

Requirements

  • 2–5+ years of experience in digital marketing, client success, or account management
  • Strong working knowledge of Google Ads
  • Strong working knowledge of SEO best practices
  • Strong working knowledge of Website CMS platforms - WordPress
  • Strong working knowledge of Email marketing platforms (e.g., Salesloft Mailchimp, HubSpot, Constant Contact)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite: Excel (data tracking/reporting), PowerPoint (client presentations), Outlook (communication & scheduling)
  • Familiarity with Canva or similar design tools
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially in face-to-face client settings
  • Ability to be both proactive and highly responsive in a deadline-driven environment

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for Boston-based clients, providing in-person and remote support
  • Partner with the General Sales Manager and Account Executives to ensure successful campaign execution
  • Provide strategic and tactical support across digital marketing campaigns (approx. 50% of workload)
  • Deliver insights, updates, and recommendations to improve campaign performance
  • Respond quickly and effectively to client needs, acting as a true “go-to” problem solver
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless campaign implementation and reporting
  • Build presentations, reports, and performance summaries using tools like PowerPoint and Excel
  • Support scheduling, workflow coordination, and project management across multiple campaigns
  • Support and optimize campaigns across Google Ads (search/display), SEO initiatives, website performance and updates, and email marketing and drip campaigns
  • Work closely with SEO partners/managers to ensure proper resource allocation and continuous improvement in rankings and performance for office websites
  • Manage and execute email drip campaigns for the General Sales Manager and sales team as a main part of the outbound sales strategy
  • Oversee and maintain social media platforms
  • Plan and publish weekly posts
  • Ensure consistent branding and messaging
  • Maintain and update multiple office websites with fresh, relevant content
