About The Position

Yalesville Veterinary Hospital, part of the Suveto network of hospitals, is looking for experienced, full-time Client Services Representative to join our team. Yalesville, located in Yalesville CT, is an AAHA accredited veterinary clinic. Our veterinarians and support teams at Yalesville Veterinary Hospital bring years of experience, skill, and a passion for helping others into their partnership with you and your pet. We believe that every pet entrusted into our care is unique. To that end, every member of our team is dedicated to providing your loved one with the highest standard of treatment possible, while being emotionally supportive and respectful of your needs as a pet owner. Our Client Services Representatives act as a liaison, provide product/services information and resolve any emerging problems with accuracy and efficiency. Although this position does not provide direct care for the pets we serve, the CSRs are critical to the success of every client interaction. We work using a team-oriented approach in delivering the best in compassionate care for both the pets and clients we serve. The ideal candidate must have excellent customer service skills and work in a fast-paced environment, ability to multitask, answer phone lines, schedule appointments, check clients in and out of the facility, and remain calm under pressure along with other misc. duties. Hours include days, nights, and weekends. Previous experience in a multi-doctor veterinary practice is preferred or past client service experience. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be client focused and have the ability to adapt/respond to different types of people
  • At least 1 year working within a customer service environment required.
  • Must be computer literate; basic computer skills with ability to navigate new software.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
  • Ability to work well within a team environment.
  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a multi-doctor veterinary practice is preferred
  • Experience with Impromed systems

Responsibilities

  • Manage the front desk by greeting clients, checking patients in/out, scheduling rechecks and signing visitors and vendors in.
  • Manage large amounts of incoming calls
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions
  • Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
  • Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
  • Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies
  • Oversee the clinic flow.
  • Maintain knowledge of extension numbers to reach employees throughout the network.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned.
