About The Position

The Client Services Representative – Insurance supports the daily operations of the Insurance department by assisting clients, processing policy documentation, and working with insurance carriers and producers. This role focuses on providing excellent customer service while ensuring client requests are handled accurately and efficiently. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, learning new systems, solving problems, and identifying ways to improve the client experience. Over time, this position offers the opportunity to grow into a consultative relationship-management or sales role within the Insurance department.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn agency management software
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently

Nice To Haves

  • associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Previous customer service or administrative experience preferred
  • insurance or financial services a plus
  • Illinois insurance license or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to insurance clients in person, by phone, and via email
  • Assist clients with policy questions, billing inquiries, and coverage documentation
  • Process policy changes, renewals, and endorsements accurately and in a timely manner
  • Prepare certificates of insurance and other required documentation for clients
  • Maintain accurate client records and documentation within agency management systems
  • Coordinate with insurance carriers and internal team members regarding policy servicing needs
  • Support producers with administrative tasks related to new business and renewals
  • Follow all regulatory, compliance, and company procedures
  • Identify opportunities to improve client adoption and satisfaction through better use of technology
  • Educate clients on available digital tools, portals, and service options
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the Insurance team
