About The Position

Precision Plumbing is a leading commercial plumbing contractor dedicated to delivering exceptional service, quality craftsmanship, and long-term client partnerships. We are seeking an experienced, driven professional to join our team as a Client Services Project Manager and help lead successful commercial plumbing projects from preconstruction through completion. The Client Services Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing commercial plumbing projects while ensuring exceptional customer service, operational excellence, financial performance, and team development. This role serves as the primary point of contact between Precision Plumbing, clients, general contractors, field teams, vendors, and design professionals. Clients Services is Precision Plumbing's commercial upfit and remodel division. The scale of projects ranges up to $1,000,000. The ideal candidate has extensive commercial plumbing or commercial construction experience, strong technical knowledge, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial construction project management or commercial plumbing.
  • Proficiency in Commercial Plumbing Systems (Domestic water systems, Sanitary waste and vent systems, Storm drainage systems, Natural gas systems, Specialty piping systems).
  • Knowledge of Plumbing Codes & Regulations (International Plumbing Code (IPC), Local jurisdiction requirements, ADA requirements).
  • Ability to read construction documents and contract drawings.
  • Ability to interpret plumbing plans and specifications.
  • Ability to identify scope gaps and conflicts.
  • Ability to review submittals and shop drawings.
  • Knowledge of BIM/VDC coordination processes.
  • Knowledge of clash detection review.
  • Knowledge of trade coordination meetings.
  • Knowledge of project sequencing and execution planning.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA standards and regulations.
  • Working knowledge of company safety policies.
  • Working knowledge of site-specific safety plans.
  • Working knowledge of incident reporting procedures.
  • Working knowledge of job hazard analysis.
  • Working knowledge of infection control requirements (healthcare projects).
  • Working knowledge of permit requirements and compliance.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Working knowledge of Bluebeam Revu.
  • Working knowledge of Procore.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Previous field experience as a Foreman or Superintendent.

Responsibilities

  • Manage commercial plumbing projects from startup through closeout.
  • Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, productivity, and profitability.
  • Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and according to contract requirements.
  • Identify project risks and proactively develop solutions.
  • Conduct regular project reviews and jobsite visits.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, general contractors, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Manage project communication, issue resolution, and customer expectations.
  • Identify future work opportunities and support business development efforts.
  • Represent Precision Plumbing professionally at all times.
  • Develop and manage project budgets.
  • Forecast project costs and labor productivity.
  • Manage change orders, purchase orders, and contract compliance.
  • Monitor profitability and gross margin performance.
  • Prepare monthly cost projections and financial reports.
  • Assist with buyout and procurement of major equipment and materials.
  • Lead project kickoff, progress, and closeout meetings.
  • Collaborate closely with field supervisors and foremen.
  • Coach, mentor, and support field personnel.
  • Promote accountability, teamwork, and professional development.
  • Develop relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Negotiate pricing and procurement strategies.
  • Manage procurement schedules and long-lead material deliveries.
  • Ensure material availability aligns with project schedules.
  • Maintain complete and accurate project records.
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, contracts, change orders, and project correspondence.
  • Ensure all permits, inspections, and certifications are obtained.
  • Document project delays, impacts, and change events.
  • Maintain compliance with company standards and contract requirements.
