About The Position

The Client Services Manager leads and develops the Client Services Supervisors to ensure an exceptional experience for UHA’s brokers and clients. This position oversees department workflow and service standards, supports client retention and renewals, strengthens relationships with brokers, consultants, and clients, and works closely with leadership to achieve departmental and organizational goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university/college or relevant work experience.
  • 7–10 years of experience in account management and servicing, sales, and customer retention.
  • 3–5 years of experience supervising or managing teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, and review the work of associates.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Proficient PC keyboarding skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team toward organizational and management goals
  • Ability to travel on Oahu and, when necessary, to the neighbor islands.

Nice To Haves

  • Medical insurance industry experience.
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems.
  • Experience with QNXT and MAS200.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop Client Services Supervisors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with UHA brokers, consultants, and clients.
  • Support client relationship management, retention, and renewals.
  • Conduct client retention meetings based on departmental requirements.
  • Monitor department workloads, outstanding tasks, and opportunities through Salesforce.
  • Oversee training materials, procedures, and department workflows.
  • Ensure a consistently high level of service to brokers and clients.
  • Ensure the quality of Open Enrollment presentations.
  • Support departmental business plan and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with leadership to support department operations and organizational goals.
