About The Position

At Milestone Treatment Center, our work is about helping people move forward. We provide compassionate, individualized substance use treatment while building relationships that support clients throughout their recovery journey. We’re looking for a Client Services Coordinator who knows how to connect with people, build trust, and remain calm when situations become difficult. This is a highly visible, relationship-driven role working directly with clients, alumni, families, and our treatment team. You’ll help clients stay engaged in treatment, reconnect with individuals who may have stepped away, support families, coordinate recovery-focused activities, and help clients navigate challenging moments. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Understanding of addiction, recovery, and relapse prevention
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to handle difficult conversations and de-escalate challenging situations
  • Organized and comfortable managing multiple priorities
  • Able to work independently while collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team
  • Compassionate, dependable, and comfortable working with individuals at different stages of recovery

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in substance use treatment, behavioral health, mental health, case management, client services, or another people-focused environment preferred

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, alumni, and their families
  • Build strong relationships with clients throughout their treatment and recovery journey
  • Help reduce Against Medical Advice (AMA) discharges by identifying concerns and helping clients remain engaged in treatment
  • Reach out to clients and alumni who have disengaged from treatment and help connect them with appropriate support
  • Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation support when needed
  • Maintain regular communication with families and provide appropriate resources and updates
  • Plan and coordinate alumni events, recovery activities, and support groups
  • Document client interactions, outreach efforts, and participation accurately and consistently
  • Partner with clinical, admissions, and support teams to provide a coordinated client experience
  • Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA and facility policies
