About The Position

Hydrasearch is looking for a Client Service Specialist to join our team in Stevensville, MD! The Client Service Specialist will provide customer service and inside sales support for Hydrasearch customers. Responsibilities will include order entry, generating quotations, stock requests, and responding to customer inquiries. Strong communication skills with internal and external customers is highly valued. A successful candidate will be highly organized, will be detail oriented, have a professional demeanor and have a positive attitude. In this role, you are more than just a point of contact; you are a solutions provider. You will manage the lifecycle of client interactions, from initial inquiry and technical quoting to order fulfillment and post-delivery support. You will act as the bridge between our customers and our internal production and engineering teams to ensure every requirement is met with accuracy. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years in a professional customer service or administrative role.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel and Outlook).
  • Proven ability to manage high volumes of data and complex orders without sacrificing accuracy.
  • Reliability to work on-site at our Stevensville, MD facility.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working within a manufacturing, aerospace, maritime, or distribution environment.
  • Ability to read basic blueprints or understand technical product specifications.
  • Prior experience using ERP systems (e.g., Global Shop Solutions, SAP, or Oracle) and CRM software.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer requests for quotes (RFQs) and provide information on product availability and lead times.
  • Enter and manage orders within our ERP system, ensuring all technical and compliance specifications are documented.
  • Partner with Production, Engineering, and Shipping departments to track order status and resolve potential delays.
  • Address and resolve customer concerns regarding shipments, billing, or technical discrepancies with a professional, proactive approach.
  • Maintain meticulous customer records and documentation in accordance with our quality management standards.
