This position is with an Ameriprise Financial Franchise owner. We are an established, growing financial advisory practice with more than 30 years of experience serving individuals and families. As a franchise of Ameriprise Financial, a Fortune 500 company, we combine the resources of a large financial organization with the personal, relationship-focused environment of a local practice. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time-management abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Sound judgment, integrity, and professionalism.
  • Strong computer skills and confidence learning new technology and software.
  • Curiosity and a genuine desire to learn and grow.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in financial services, banking, client service, or another professional office environment is helpful, but not required.
  • We are willing to train an exceptional candidate with the right mindset, aptitude, work ethic, and capacity to learn.
  • We're far more interested in finding someone with strong character, curiosity, and potential than someone who already knows every system we use.

Responsibilities

  • Interact directly with clients to answer questions, assist with account-related needs, and ensure requests are handled accurately and promptly.
  • Open and maintain investment, retirement, brokerage, and education savings accounts.
  • Process account transfers, money movement requests, and other financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Manage client records, documentation, and workflow through our CRM and operational systems.
  • Schedule and coordinate appointments and support advisors before, during, and after client meetings.
  • Prepare reports, forms, correspondence, and other client-related materials.
  • Coordinate with our home office and internal departments to resolve client requests and account issues.
  • Monitor outstanding tasks and follow up to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Assist with general office operations and other responsibilities as the needs of the practice evolve.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, streamline workflows, and create an exceptional experience for both clients and team members.
