About The Position

Willamette Valley Bank is seeking a personable and welcoming Client Service Specialist to build relationships with customers, community members, and fellow staff. As a representative of the bank, the specialist greets visitors, assists with routine banking transactions, responds to basic account inquiries, and helps connect customers with financial solutions that support their goals. The role requires careful cash handling, attention to detail, and adherence to safety, confidentiality, regulatory compliance, and fraud prevention practices. The position is located at the Albany Retail Branch in Albany, Oregon.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Provide friendly, professional assistance to customers and prospects in person and over the phone.
Handle everyday transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, check cashing, and wire transfers, accurately and carefully.
Respond to basic account inquiries and help customers navigate their banking needs.
Collaborate with team members to create exceptional, personalized customer experiences.
Follow safety protocols, maintain confidentiality, and comply with regulatory requirements and fraud prevention practices.
Identify opportunities to connect customers with products and services that support their financial goals.
Manage cash and perform transactions attentively while following established procedures and compliance standards.
