Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (college preferred)
  • 5+ years of related experience in client service, insurance, or similar role
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • High attention to detail and strong proofreading ability
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Strong math and organizational skills
  • Experience with CRM systems

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in surety bonds or insurance industry
  • Familiarity with contract language and bonding processes
  • Experience supporting sales or producer teams

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for bond requests and client inquiries
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and surety partners
  • Address client needs and concerns promptly and effectively
  • Review bond requests for completeness and accuracy; follow up on missing information
  • Maintain accurate client records and track bid, final, and miscellaneous bonds
  • Manage bond renewals and ensure timely processing
  • Work closely with producers to resolve questions and support sales efforts
  • Communicate with project owners/obligees regarding contracts and project details
  • Support billing processes, including accounts payable/receivable
  • Ensure surety partners are regularly updated with relevant information
  • Maintain detailed documentation and ensure compliance with requirements
  • Understand bond forms and contract language, including complex/onerous terms
