About The Position

The Client Service Representative (CSR) supports the Client Service Supervisor with staff scheduling, client service, and daily operations at Interim HealthCare’s Portland, Maine office. The role contributes to the delivery of home-based care by helping coordinate staffing, maintain compliance and employee records, support referrals and office functions, and provide responsive service to clients, caregivers, referral sources, and care-team members. The position is described as 40 hours per week with a flexible schedule.

Requirements

Associate’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.
At least 1 year of experience in healthcare or a related industry.
Understanding of state and federal home care standards and regulations.
Excellent oral and written communication skills with clinical and non-clinical staff.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency with computer software and ability to learn new systems quickly.
Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.

Responsibilities

Assist the Client Service Supervisor in ensuring compliance with quality and operational standards.
Coordinate staff schedules and help optimize scheduling for home care services.
Document job orders, receive referrals, and assist with staffing requests.
Maintain employee files, verify credentials and certifications, conduct background checks, and assist with recruiting efforts.
Verify client insurance and assist with marketing, payroll, and collections.
Provide professional and responsive service to clients, caregivers, referral sources, and members of the care team.
Help ensure smooth day-to-day office operations and a positive experience for clients and employees.
