About The Position

BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring an extraordinary Client Service Coordinator in Reno, NV! Schedules: Full time - Weekends mandatory Veterinary Medicine Experience Required Are you an excellent customer service professional? At BluePearl Veterinary Partners, our Client Service Coordinators are imperative to the success of our hospital. In this position, you are the first BluePearl Associate that the client sees. You will ensure that each client receives the care and attention that they need. You will need to be able to function calmly and compassionately in situations that can be very emotional and difficult for our clients.

Requirements

  • Veterinary Medicine Experience Required
  • Applicants must possess unrestricted, current authorization to work in the U.S. and not require future sponsorship for an employment-based green card.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and make friendly eye contact every time our hospital entry door opens to offer individual a warm and professional acknowledgement.
  • Always offering a friendly smile, strong eye contact and an approachable demeanor.
  • Be a compassionate listener.
  • Speak clearly, slowly, and calmly in person and on the telephone in a way that clients easily understand.
  • Assess immediately upon arrival each client’s rare need, as well as the pet’s general condition.
  • Determine whether an emergency arrival is a “stat” versus “standard” emergency.
  • Respond to non-patient calls or visitors and connect them to the appropriate team member.
  • Confirm all appointments in advance ensuring clients receive accurate information about preparing their pet for the appointment.
  • Offer emotional support and resource materials to grieving clients in a compassionate and discreet manner.
  • Serve as a liaison between clients and service agencies during handling of pet remains by ensuring a complete, accurate, and compassionate process.
