About The Position

McCrossan & Associates, a private wealth advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial Services, LLC, is seeking a Client Service Associate to join their growing team in Mesa, AZ. This role is crucial for delivering a high-quality client experience and supporting the advisors with daily operational needs. The Client Service Associate will manage client service requests, prepare for client meetings, and ensure all administrative tasks are handled efficiently. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused setting and aims for a long-term career in financial services.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in a client service or administrative support role (financial services experience preferred)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional, proactive, and team-oriented mindset
  • Comfort working with confidential client information and regulatory processes
  • Ability to deliver a high level of client service and maintain professional client relationships
  • Background check required

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
  • Interest in growing within the financial services industry
  • Interest in pursuing industry licensing and growing into more advanced roles such as paraplanner or financial advisor support positions over time

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for client inquiries, responding via phone, email, and in person.
  • Prepare client meeting agendas, documents, and follow-up summaries.
  • Maintain and update the Client Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  • Coordinate scheduling and confirm client appointments.
  • Assist with account openings, transfers, and service-related transactions.
  • Process check deposits, incoming mail, and required paperwork.
  • Track outstanding items such as planning documents, tax forms, and required signatures.
  • Support advisors during client meetings and document follow-up action items.
  • Ensure client files are organized and maintained in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Assist with estate settlement processing and related applications.
  • Provide general operational and administrative support to the advisory team.
