Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience working within regulated financial services industry as Admin/Sales Assistant to Investment Advisors
  • CIRO Licensed (IR or RR) Mandatory
  • Trade execution experience
  • Knowledge of industry regulatory rules, relevant legislation and requirements and keeping up with systems and regulatory changes
  • Understands the importance of Compliance with established operating procedures and protocols
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills when interacting with clients and internal colleagues
  • Proactive, confident, and professional approach to problem-solving, at times with minimal supervision
  • Detail oriented with advanced knowledge of administrative functions and procedures
  • Takes ownership of tasks and consistently shows initiative in finding solutions
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook), Internet Explorer, and contact management software

Nice To Haves

  • Licensed as an Investment Representative (IR) or Registered Representative (RR) with the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO), and a well-rounded knowledge of the securities industry
  • 3+ years of experience working in Wealth Management and managing client relationships and assets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, with a strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, take initiatives and multi-task
  • Ability to work independently, and effectively with employees and clients at all levels
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills: good working knowledge of MS Office programs; acts as a positive team-player – trustworthy, capable, and reliable
  • Experience with Dataphile and Croesus would be an asset

Responsibilities

  • Answer client queries and provide the appropriate information when requested
  • Record all client interactions using CRM
  • Coordinate schedules and appointments for the lead agent
  • Manage office correspondence, emails, and phone calls
  • Prepare and maintain documents, reports, and presentations
  • Organize and maintain filing systems
  • Assist in the planning and execution of meetings and events
