About The Position

Solucient Security is seeking a Client Relationship Sales Specialist to grow our Chicago Northland market by developing new business and expanding relationships with existing Clients. This is not a transactional sales role. We are looking for someone who is curious about how businesses operate, asks great questions, builds trusted relationships, and can uncover the real problem behind a Client's security needs. The Client Relationship Sales Specialist will work throughout our Chicago Northland market, primarily including Lake, McHenry, and Cook Counties and Chicago proper. Our Illinois office in Northbrook. The role will have an assigned base of existing Client accounts to manage, retain, and grow while also developing new business opportunities throughout the broader market.

Requirements

B2B sales, business development, account management, or consultative selling experience preferred.
Demonstrated ability to develop relationships and generate new business.
Strong prospecting, discovery, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
Curiosity and the ability to ask deeper questions before recommending a solution.
Strong communication and active-listening skills.
Ability to manage both new-business development and an assigned base of existing Client relationships.
Self-motivated and comfortable being accountable for measurable sales results.
Strong organization, time management, follow-through, and attention to detail.
Ability to maintain disciplined CRM and pipeline management.
Ability and willingness to travel throughout the Chicago Northland market.

Nice To Haves

Experience with commercial security, low-voltage systems, technology solutions, or other solution-based B2B sales is a plus.

Responsibilities

Prospect and develop new commercial business throughout the Chicago Northland market.
Manage an assigned base of existing Client accounts with responsibility for relationship development, retention, and growth.
Build and expand Client relationships through ongoing Client Connections.
Generate opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, Client relationships, and identification of changing business needs.
Conduct consultative discovery to understand the Client's business, challenges, priorities, decision process, budget, and desired outcomes.
Identify the Client's real problem and partner with Solution Design to develop the right solution.
Present value-driven proposals and confidently guide qualified opportunities through commitment and close.
Identify technology upgrades, additional locations, new solutions, and other opportunities within existing Client relationships.
Maintain accurate opportunities, activities, next steps, and forecasting in HubSpot.
Consistently meet or exceed monthly KPIs and established Installation, RMR, opportunity, and revenue goals.
Provide Client and market insight that helps Solucient identify emerging needs and growth opportunities.
