About The Position

The Client Relationship Consultant performs customer services, such as opening new accounts, establishing direct deposit accounts, opening retirement accounts, teller functions, and assisting customers with queries concerning Bank services. You are responsible for the development of new business relationships and maintaining existing relationships. You will answer questions about all services the Bank provides, and recognizes selling and referral opportunities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Successful completion of in-house training program.
  • Two years’ experience in the teller function
  • Sales experience, particularly in cross-marketing products and services.
  • Excellent sales, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Thorough understanding of Bank products and services.
  • Above average computer and keyboard skills.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of accounting software; Database software; Internet software; and Word Processing software; Jack Henry core system.
  • Maintain knowledge of and ensure compliance with all BSA/AML/OFAC regulations and all other regulatory, security and bank policies.
  • Successfully perform quality work within deadlines with or without supervision, interact professionally with other employees, customers and suppliers; work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments and work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Provides a complete range of customer services at the Bank, including opening new accounts, explaining available Bank products and services, and gathering customer information to process new and existing accounts.
  • Evaluates needs of potential clients and offers appropriate financial products and services.
  • Proactively prospects for new business.
  • Assists supervisor in establishing objectives and plans for the branch.
  • Participate in sales, service and product training meetings.
  • Follows policies and procedures related to retail areas.
  • Opens and closes office by following established security procedures.
  • Represents the Bank in community affairs and civic organizations.
  • Performs related duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Performs Teller functions as needed.
  • Follows up by phone and/or written correspondence after the initial sales encounter.
  • Provide and maintain professional business atmosphere.
  • Promote a professional, positive and proper image of the Bank to the public and to the employees.
  • Maintain good working relationships with support departments and management.
  • Adopt First National Bank of Pasco’s philosophies and adhere to Bank policies and procedures.
  • Promote growth by providing qualified referrals to other Bank staff.
  • Perform other duties as needed or assigned by management.
