As a Client Relationship Consultant, you will play a critical role in partnering closely with our Sales team and top-level Broker partners to develop and implement customized strategies. In this role, you will have the opportunity to establish yourself as a knowledgeable industry expert and consultant in the field of group benefits. Your expertise and consultative approach will play a vital role in managing an assigned block of in-force group business. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent plus 4+ years related experience (group benefits and/or account management experience preferred).
• Must be able to acquire and maintain all required state licenses within 90 days. Active life/health license preferred.
• Must have excellent persuasion, interpersonal, problem-solving, decision-making, time management, presentation, listening, and oral/written communication skills, as well as analytical skills.
• Advanced math skills required with basic skills related to graphs, symbols, equations, etc.
• Intermediate computer skills and knowledge of business unit applications preferred.
• Maintain accuracy while being detail oriented.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality is essential.
• Travel required (approx. 25%), including overnight stays and time out in the market in face-to-face contact with customers and brokers.

Responsibilities

• Delivering upon a strategic relationship plan that includes quarterly/annual goals
• Providing expert renewal analysis & delivery
• Delivering outstanding service and selling new lines of business
