The Client Relationship Banker delivers an elevated, relationship-focused banking experience for business owners, professionals, nonprofit organizations, municipalities, and personal banking clients within Mountain West Bank's new headquarters branch in beautiful downtown Coeur d'Alene. The Client Relationship Banker serves as a trusted resource for clients, identifying solutions, strengthening relationships, and supporting the delivery of a distinctive banking experience that differentiates Mountain West Bank from traditional banking institutions. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in banking, financial services, luxury retail, professional services, or another client-focused environment known for exceptional relationship-based service.
  • Demonstrated success building and maintaining long-term client relationships.
  • Experience identifying client needs and recommending appropriate products, services, or solutions.
  • Proven ability to deliver highly personalized service experiences to discerning clients.
  • Excellent communication, professionalism, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of service and accuracy.
  • Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance.
  • Must be able to operate routine office equipment including computer terminals and keyboards, telephones, copiers, facsimiles, and calculators.
  • Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary.
  • Must be able to speak clearly and deliver information in a logical and understandable sequence.
  • Must be able to perform responsibilities with composure under the stress of deadlines / requirements for extreme accuracy and quality and/or fast pace.
  • Must be able to effectively handle multiple, simultaneous, and changing priorities.
  • Must be capable of exercising highest level of discretion on both internal and external confidential matters.

Nice To Haves

  • Banking, credit union, wealth management, or financial services experience.
  • Experience opening and servicing deposit accounts or financial products.
  • Consumer lending experience.
  • Experience working with business owners, professionals, nonprofit organizations, or government entities.
  • Current TechXpert certification or willingness to obtain certification within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Uphold and actively promote the bank’s core beliefs, core values, and customer service standards, collectively known as “Our Compass”.
  • Deliver a concierge-level banking experience through personalized relationship management and proactive client engagement.
  • Build and maintain relationships with business owners, professionals, nonprofit organizations, municipalities, and personal banking clients.
  • Contribute to branch growth through client relationship development and community engagement.
  • Support commercial lending, professional banking, mortgage, and other internal banking partners with client account activities, maintenance, and service needs.
  • Promote the Bank's High-Performance Growth (HPG) program, referral process, and Tell-a-Friend program while striving to exceed company goals.
  • Perform universal banker functions including account opening, account maintenance, consumer lending support, and complex client servicing.
  • Identify client needs and recommend appropriate banking products and services.
  • Maintain accurate records and operational documentation, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  • Support audits, compliance reviews, and risk management activities.
  • Ensure adherence to bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
  • Partner effectively with branch teammates and internal departments to deliver seamless client service.
  • Participate in community and business development activities that support relationship growth and brand awareness.
