Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • 3+ years’ experience in a professional office environment and/or delivering professional customer service
  • Demonstrates strong proficiency and confidence working across various platforms and operating systems; Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and CRM (Go High Level)
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and works well independently
  • Skilled in building strong, trust-based relationships with clients by providing attentive, personalized service and guidance
  • Collaborative team player willing to assist others
  • Excellent communication; written and verbal
  • Demonstrates exceptional organizational skills by efficiently managing multiple client requests and prioritizing time sensitive tasks
  • Exhibits meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Embraces change and adapts quickly to evolving processes

Responsibilities

  • Answer calls in a friendly, positive, and warm manner related to billing, coverage, and claims assistance
  • Explain plan details in simple, clear terms clients can easily understand
  • Handle basic policy questions without escalating to an agent when possible
  • Assist with claims issues or direct clients to the appropriate carrier as needed
  • Effectively manage and resolve client issues
  • Submit applications when agents are unavailable
  • Track and monitor pending policies through to approval
  • Resolve underwriting issues and quickly correct missing or incomplete information
  • Ensure policies are issued (“placed in force”) accurately and efficiently
  • Schedule annual client reviews and appointments
  • Assist agents during Annual and Open Enrollment Period (AEP/OEP) outreach initiatives
  • Track clients who are up for plan changes and flag at-risk clients
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate client records
  • Accurately document client interactions and conversation details in the CRM (Go High Level) database
  • Track notes and ensure all required documentation is properly recorded
  • Properly tag and categorize leads and clients for effective outreach and reporting
