About The Position

The Americas Account Onboarding team supports the operational setup and maintenance of client/firm accounts across internal systems. This role is responsible for coordinating account opening requests and ensuring accounts are established accurately and efficiently in accordance with internal procedures and business requirements. The Associate will work closely with Sales, Client Service, Operations, Middle Office, Technology, and other internal teams to facilitate timely and accurate account setup. The role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple requests in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in client or account onboarding at a multi-national financial institution.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail when working with high volumes of data.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Broadridge vendor system BPS a plus.

Responsibilities

  • End-to-end creation and maintenance of internal and external accounts across multiple lines of business (including loans, equity, fixed income, collateral etc.) and internal/external platforms.
  • Review account opening requests and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy against internal setup requirements.
  • Support regulatory documentation collection, validation, and delivery.
  • Account Executive management across regions.
  • Management and review of confirms, disclosures, prospectuses, and returned mail.
  • Partnering with onboarding, tax operations, compliance, and front office teams to ensure seamless account onboarding and lifecycle management.
  • Monitor account setup queues, track outstanding items, and ensure requests are completed within established timelines.
  • Support account maintenance activities, including amendments, closures, product additions, and updates to account attributes.
  • Assist with process improvement initiatives to enhance workflow efficiency, data quality, and turnaround times.
