As a Business Insurance Client Manager, this role serves as a key partner to advisors, carriers, and clients by managing the ongoing service and support of a book of commercial insurance business. The position plays a critical role in onboarding new clients, supporting renewals, managing accounts to meet deliverables, and ensuring a seamless client experience from start to finish. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, pride in work, and a genuine desire to help business owners navigate the often-complex world of business insurance. The Client Manager will collaborate closely with internal teams while acting as a trusted point of contact for client service needs.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key partner to Advisors, Carriers, and Clients by managing the ongoing service and support of a book of commercial insurance business
  • Play a critical role in onboarding new clients
  • Support renewals
  • Manage the entirety of an account hitting on deliverables set forth
  • Ensure a seamless client experience from start to finish
  • Build strong, professional relationships with clients, carriers and internal team members
  • Communicate clearly and confidently via phone, email, and written documentation
  • Manage multiple priorities
  • Take ownership of client needs and resolve issues efficiently and empathetically
  • Review and process policies against binders and proposals after placement
  • Handle certificates of insurance, endorsements, audits, and other policy servicing tasks
  • Review insurance requirements and confidently ensure current policy language supports clients signed contracts, detailing where need for coverage is
  • Answer questions related to billing, coverage, and policy changes
  • Escalate and triage complex issues in collaboration with Advisors and Client Support teams
  • Manage a small book of business, serviced through carrier service centers
  • Share workload collaboratively across a service team and supporting team success
