The 2027 Summer Internship for Client Management Account Analyst in Toronto is a dynamic role focused on supporting the servicing of PIMCO’s institutional clients and Global Wealth Management businesses. The primary responsibility is to assist PIMCO’s investment professionals in delivering the highest level of service to clients. Interns will gather, analyze, and discuss economic and market trends, evaluate portfolio structures, and deliver attribution analyses to Account Managers and their clients. The internship offers valuable experience across PIMCO Canada’s business, including time with both the institutional client servicing group and the global wealth management internal sales team.

Requirements

  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree
  • Must be able to begin full time employment from a PIMCO office between January 2028 – August 2028
  • Must be enrolled at a university during the Fall 2027 semester (August 2027 – December 2027)
  • Minimum 3.2 cumulative collegiate grade point average on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent) at an accredited 4-year college or university
  • Business proficient in English
  • Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Excel

Nice To Haves

  • Fluency in French is desired but not required
  • Strong interest in the financial markets, macroeconomics, and investment finance
  • Ability to articulate ideas/strategies clearly, both verbally and in writing
  • Outstanding relationship building skills and the ability to develop client relationships into strategic partnerships
  • Self-starter with the ability to work within the firm’s demanding and highly focused environment
  • Ethical, collaborative, organized, flexible, high energy, self-starter, accountable, humble traits
  • Excellent time management, multi-tasking, organization and communication skills
  • Taken finance/capital markets coursework (recommended)

Responsibilities

  • Support the servicing of PIMCO’s institutional clients and Global Wealth management businesses.
  • Support PIMCO’s investment professionals to ensure delivery of the highest level of service to clients.
