•$130,000 - $260,000•Hybrid

About The Position

The Client Investment Research Analyst role sits at the center of Bridgewater’s mission to understand how the world works and translate that understanding into the best possible portfolios for its clients. This role involves advising sophisticated institutional investors by applying Bridgewater’s view of cause-and-effect linkages in economies and markets. The work spans synthesizing global economic and market dynamics, considering portfolio management strategies based on unique investor goals and constraints, and collaborating with Bridgewater’s Strategists. Over time, analysts develop "proxy CIO judgment," the ability to understand and manage an institutional investor's portfolio strategically and tactically, considering their governance, return objectives, liability profiles, and strategic priorities. Analysts progress from foundational skills to independent investment practice and potentially senior leadership roles, contributing to investment content and shaping client perspectives. The role offers various career paths across Bridgewater’s investment community based on individual strengths and interests.
